A few months ago, Pantone named “Greenery” as 2017’s color of the year! Since then, we’ve been seeing this color pop up more and more for home decor and accessories. With St. Patrick’s day coming up, we wanted to give you some ideas on how to incorporate this beautiful color into your lifestyle.
I was shopping at Crate & Barrel the other day and came across this beautiful kitchen island. It’s like a mint green color so it’s not super bright and distracting. It is a separate piece that can be added to any kitchen for that extra pop of color!
For simpler and less expensive ways to incorporate this beautiful trend into your lifestyle here are some of our favorite options:
Measuring Cups: Get baking! Measuring cups are a sweet and easy way to show off your style. These adorable measuring cups scream spring with this perfect pastel shade of green.
Pillows: Palm leaves and pillows! Accent pillows are a great way to switch things up. They can easily and inexpensively be replaced, traded out and changed up from season to season. This accent pillow is a great choice because it incorporates the green trend and also the palm tree trend – double points for you!
Succulents: These charming plants are a wonderful way to add that natural green to your color scheme. If you are like me, you were not born with a green thumb, so these artificial succulents are the perfect solution!
Accessories: Iphone cases have been the perfect accessory to one’s style. Here is a great option for those of you that want to enjoy the green trend, but not go off the deep end with it. These cute cacti are everything, aren’t they??
Furniture: Furniture pieces can be a little tricky because of the larger investment. These outdoor chairs are the perfect option because they are less expensive and transition well from spring to summer. If you’re really going for it, this stunning velvet sofa is the show stopping piece you’ve been looking for. It’s 1950’s style and Parisian character makes for a timeless piece that is worth the investment!
