Black Friday – November 24, 2017

After all of your shopping is done, kickoff the holiday season with the City of Alexandria Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6 p.m. on historic Market Square (301 King Street). This is extremely festive and includes live entertainment and a visit from Santa!
Small Business Saturday – November 25, 2017
Old Town is really excited to bring Small Business Saturday back this year! An addition to this year’s events is free parking at parking meters! No need to stress about moving your car every couple of hours. Yayy! And now you can spend that meter money on a coffee to get you ready for this busy day!
Let’s get to the activities! AR Workshop will be hosting an open house packed with holiday crafting and festive treats for just $5! This would be the perfect activity for the kiddos! Check out their site here for some cuteness overload!
Want to see Santa? Santa can be spotted throughout Old Town while on his Santa Stroll! How sweet is that? His final stop is at Hooray for Books where you can have your picture taken with Saint Nicholas himself – make sure to call to reserve your spot!
